Shipping Policy

Thank you for visiting and shopping at handloomdenim.org. Following are the terms and conditions that constitute our Shipping Policy:

  • All orders for ex-stock fabrics are processed within a maximum of 2-3 business days of conformation of order. Orders will not be shipped or delivered on weekends or public holidays. From the time the order is dispatched, the order will be delivered to you within a maximum of 7 – 10 working days within India.
  • Shipments may be delayed by a few days around festival times. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If we expect a significant delay in shipment of your order, due to unforeseen circumstances, we will inform you of the delay immediately and work to get your consignment to you as soon as possible.
  • We at handloomdenim.org do ship across the globe. The rate charged for the shipping of the order is based on the weight of the products, and the delivery location.  The customers also have the option of arranging for a pickup through their preferred logistics partner, in which case no charges will be payable for shipping.
  • All products shipped from handloomdenim.org will be deliver to the recipient at the address indicated at the time of checkout, or to someone other than the person or entity named at the time of checkout having apparent authority to accept the shipment in the name and on behalf of the recipient.  There is no obligation to deliver a shipment to the recipient personally and the courier partner may deliver to someone other than the person named at the time of checkout.
  • Every shipment shall be charged by its chargeable weight, as defined hereunder, and not the actual weight. The chargeable weight shall be the higher of:
    • The actual weight rounded off to the next higher one kg
    • The volumetric weight of the packed products, similarly rounded off as in (a) above.
  • In rare cases, the delivery of your consignment may considerably be delayed due to floods/ heavy rains/ natural calamity/ national bandh/election dates/ curfews/traffic jams/festival times/ regulated traffic movements/ or any other impediments that may restrict the delivery of the order
  • A Shipment Confirmation message will be sent once your order has shipped, the message will contain the tracking number(s) and the website tracking link. The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.
  • handloomdenim.org is not responsible for any extra customs, octroi and taxes that are applied to your order which is dependent upon the Country/State/Constituency to which the shipment must be delivered. All fees imposed after shipping are responsibility of the customer.
  • If the order is received in a damaged condition, please contact us at the earliest. Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods, click pictures and send to us at the earliest.
  • The Logistics partners may, at its option, or upon the request of the competent authorities, open and inspect any shipment at any time, and shall incur no liability of any kind therefore.
  • The proof of delivery or other alternate documentation evidencing delivery of the shipment will be furnished provided a request in that behalf is made within 15 days of booking of the shipment
  • A shipment shall be considered to be undeliverable if
    • the recipient’s address is incomplete, illegible, incorrect or cannot be located,
    • the recipient fails or refuses to accept delivery or sign or pay for delivery of any shipment
    • the shipment would likely cause damage or delay to other shipments or goods, or injury to persons,
    • the shipment is detained or otherwise unable to clear local or State boundaries,
    • if a recipient of a Collect on Delivery (COD) shipment fails or refuses on such delivery to pay the COD amount.
  • From time to time there may be information on the site that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions that may relate to product descriptions, pricing, and availability. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions and to change or update information at any time without prior notice (including after you have submitted your order). We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.
  • In case the customer wants to change the delivery address after conformation of the order, the customer may do so by sending an email before the shipment has been shipped. In case a customer wants to change the address after the products have been shipped, we will charge Rs. 100 for shipments within India and USD 15 for shipments outside India.
  • Our logistics partner will make a maximum of two attempts to deliver the consignment and after which the consignment will be deemed rejected.
